Southern Charm and Hospitality

Because Southerners are known for charm and hospitality, the Toby line fashions its hand-sewn, locally made garments with ease of use in mind. They avoid standard closures, which are often unwieldy, in favor of Velcro, which allows you to suit up your pooch in a flash. All of their garments feature ready holes for harnesses as well as leashes, and the occasional button just for decoration.

Because Southerners are also known for graceful demeanor and lifestyle, the Toby line’s stylishness and attention to detail rival that of the best cotillion. For example, all outerwear is reversible, giving you two garments in one! Which matters a great deal when little Fifi makes a grand entrance only to discover Lulu the poodle clad in a similar floral or toile. With legendary Southern savoir faire, Fifi discreetly slips behind a bush and flips her coat to the other side, emerging at once both elegant and entirely unscathed by the potential faux-paw.

Fabrics are hand picked for strength, resistance to fading and shrinking, and long-term fashion viability. It all looks effortless (which it’s not) when downed at the end of the day with a cool mint julep on the front porch.
