Pass the Popcorn, it’s FleaTV Time!

Enrichment activities (that exercise Fido’s brain) are so important for dogs (and all living beings!). Thankfully, the folks behind FleaTV get it. They’ve put the science of how dogs see and hear into creating a wonderful DVD for dogs called FleaTV. You and Fido will love this, paws down! Let’s start with color: did you know that your little fur ball sees mostly the blue-violet and yellow part of the spectrum? Similar to someone who is red-green colorblind. So FleaTV is color processed to emphasize those shades.

Next, they addressed dogs’ ability to detect motion and contrast and maximized the film for doggy strengths and preferences in these areas. Of course, it’s all filmed from a canine perspective (lower to the ground). And Fido will go nuts when he learns that the DVD also contains how-to sections on baking scrumptious treats and—seriously—tutorials on canine massage! Doggy heaven in a DVD? We think so.
