Daily Kibble Warm-Hearted Wednesday: Pick Your Paw Animal Rescue Makes Good Happen, One Dog at a Time

Sometimes, a small group of people can make a big impact. That’s exactly what the dozen or so dedicated animal lovers of Pick Your Paw Animal Rescue are proving for every dog and every family touched by the powerful work they do. Using a network of foster homes, kennels/ daycares, veterinary, and behavior services, they take dogs from kill shelters in New York, New Jersey, and Miami and provide everything necessary for each dog to shine their brightest. Then, they help these much happier dogs find a wonderful, loving, and—of course—permanent home.

Pick Your Paw approaches rescue in an effective and thorough way, by not only providing the immediate services that each animal needs, but also educating the adopters and the general public in order to lessen the likelihood of animals being returned. A vital part of their mission includes “educating the public, one dog at a time, to create a different viewpoint of the Pit Bull Terrier.” We give paws of thanks to the caring folks of Pick Your Paw Animal Rescue for not only saving lives but also for inspiring us with their method of rescue and proving that even just a few people have the power to make a really big difference.
