A Gorgeous Glow of Rememberance and Giving
To ease the sadness of the passing of a beloved fur angel, a soft, glowing candle in a beautiful color vessel can be comforting and healing. That’s what cancer survivor, Lee Rhodes, discovered while battling cancer herself. Lee was so affected by this colorful experience, as well as the struggles of other cancer patients she met while in treatment, that she decided to start Glassybaby to not only make beautiful hand–blown glass tea light holders, but also to donate a portion of all sales to organizations that help cancer patients. Our favorites are the Wet Dog and Purr honoring our four-legged companions that enrich our lives in so many ways.
This precious, handmade work of art in an earthy shade of sage–infused brown holds a tea light and gives off a soothing, warm glow. With every purchase of a Wet Dog Glassbaby, 10% of the price will be donated to the Humane Society of the United States. Glassybaby is located in Seattle, employs more than 70 artists, and believes in the power of creating beautiful things by hand that help people—and animals—heal. To date, they’ve donated more than $1 million to charitable organizations dedicated to health and healing.
